KARACHI – Former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal has said that he is in a phase of strengthening his party and currently has no plan to enter electoral politics.
Speaking to media here, Kamal said failure was not an option. He reiterated that “we have got success in what we did.” He said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar is an innocent man, “May Allah guide him to the right path.” He said that Sattar knew everything, but hastened to add that he would not create problems for him.
“If we had not done this, people would not have been able to speak up reality.” Kamal said he would move to Sindh and entire Pakistan after Karachi. “We didn’t try to enforce ourselves on others,” he said. He said his party was preaching peace and brotherhood. The ex-mayor clarified that he was not focusing on ethnic politics.
