KARACHI: A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party of newly elected local body representatives met former Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at his residence here on Friday. The delegation included newly elected District Council Chairman Salman Abdullah Murad , and nine other DMCs elected along with Vice Chairman Jan Mohammad Baloch and Abdul Marwat from Malir. Pakistan People’s Party leaders included Qaim Ali Shah, Waqar Mehdi and others, while talking to the delegation, they said that Pakistan Peoples Party has given many sacrifices for the people of the country for the democracy and its mandate was to serve the public, so that newly elected local representatives should understand and set their goal, to serve people and to spare the efforts to solve the problems. No doubt the PPP workers have also sacrificed their lives to uphold democracy, the Constitution and the law in country.
