MULTAN: A man shot and killed his brother-in-law (husband of sister) over love marriage feud on Thursday and escaped from the scene.
The police said that the deceased, Irshad, and sister of the accused, Riaz, did love marriage around six months ago without the consent of her family in Tehsil Shujjabad of Multan district.
The accused was extremely troubled over the step taken by his sister and shot her husband and fled.
The body was shifted to hospital for post-mortem and the police, after registering a case, started raids for the arrest of the murderer at large.
